About Our Music -
Going against current music trends in live music, we play a refreshing mix of original songs, blues, country, rock, spiritual and humorous music. As we both are avid songwriters, our performances contain many of our original tunes.
We believe that our music is quite unique. Howard has exceptional skills on the flute and guitar. In addition, we have added instruments often used only for bluegrass and country music in our contemporary sounds. Namely, the mandolin, banjo and dobro guitar. Billy specializes in these instruments and the guitar.
Many have listened to our music. The comments most often made are that out music is “non-obtrusive”, relaxing, and easy to listen to. That is what we strive for. We want you to play our music more than once and enjoy it every time.
One of the unique aspects of our performances is that we simply love to perform and have fun doing it. We have found that when we have fun, the audience has fun with us. Before each performance, we always try to develop a unique list of songs based on who we believe the audience might be.
